Flower of Evil got me. I wasn’t prepared for such an emotional ride. To be honest, I started watching Flower of Evil to take a break from the sweet romantic dramas and have something to watch during my pauses between work. Something I won’t have the urge to binge-watch. How naive I was! How unprepared for this experience.
You will be amazed by the breathtaking performance of Lee Joon-Gi, who plays a husband and the serial murder case suspect, Baek Hee-Seong. He is perfectly paired together with Moon Chae-Won, who plays his wife, a police officer Cha Ji-Won. Can I just say, these two look great together? Their portrayal of a marriage relationship is so wonderful. I believed everything. Also, the supporting roles are amazing. What about the soundtrack? I love it when perfect drama is complemented with a perfect soundtrack. And that’s exactly what Flower of Evil has for you. I had to include it to the Top K-drama soundtracks.
By the time I was watching episode 3, my mind was completely blown off. I wanted to scream, I was full of emotions. I couldn’t believe the tempo and how the storyline got more and more intense. The end of episode 4 took my breath away, I was an emotional wreck. How on earth this drama can have 16 episodes when it is progressing like that I asked myself. I was sitting and watching it with my eyes wide open and completely smitten. A few more episodes later, I was convinced that Flower of Evil would be in my top ten K-dramas and I will definitely be rewatching it in the future. But suddenly I started to have a bad feeling, that there won’t be the kind of happyend I wished for. With every episode, the situation got more and more intense and my feelings became almost unbearable. I was even scared to continue watching because I was so afraid of what could happen to the main leads. In the last few episodes, tears were streaming down my face and I couldn’t stop watching.
